A beauty 22 inch rainbow from the Stellako river. The larger trout follow the sockeye salmon in August/September. A good egg pattern almost guarantees a great day on the river.

My first steelhead. Caught this beauty on my first cast using a black and blue intruder pattern that I tied.

Caught this 28 inch rainbow on my 4wt using an olive muffler minnow I tied. This fish ran to the end of my backing. Almost lost it. I regained control and had the fish to the boat three times. It ran out to the backing two more times before landing. The fish had lots of energy when I released it to be caught again. This is a wonderful catch and release only lake. I lost another that made this one look small.
