We were out on a group crownland camping adventure on McCrae Lake in 2017. My oldest son, Phillip, age 12, felt he was old enough to wander off and go fishing on his own. This left me with much of the domestic duties. Once he started catching on a little plug, there was no way I could keep him from the water. He caught a couple medium sized fish, including this smallmouth bass, which we released. Made him feel all grown up!
