Uncha lake camping 2014
There is a beautiful Forest service campsite on the south side of the lake about half way down. It is logging road access and will accommodate 30ft travel trailer. The boat launch is extremely shallow having to back out into the lake over 50 ft to launch my 20 ft boat. Due to the orientation of the site it gets afternoon wind blowing straight in. Had to park my boat in a little bay around the back of the campsite down a 100 meter road so that it didn't get smashed up. The fishing was good for rainbows and we did catch one char. Happy fishing.
Binta lake camping 2014
There are two beautiful Forest Service campsites on Binta, one at the north end and one at the south. Both sites are logging road access but will accommodate 30 ft travel trailer. Boat launches were good but a little shallow, managed to launch 20 ft boat easily. This lake was ounce known for it's Char but I believe due to over fishing the Char fishing was a little slow, although the kids had a great time catching 1 lb rainbows pretty steady. I did make the mistake of quading down the driveway of the cabin at the north end of the lake across from the campsite and got yelled at no matter how polite and apologetic I was. Have a great time fishing if Binta lake is your next destination.
