Nourse Creek Falls

I have lived here in Burns Lake for 45 years and have always heard about the falls but did not realize what I was Missing..It wasn't the falls that got my attention but the limestone rock formations that surrounded it..The looked like statues..I think its called Stalagmites..

A Whitetail to Remember

Hunting for Whitetail in November near Burns lake B.C..I was laying in the snow watching an opening in the forest when i was almost run over by this deer.He had one eye put out from fighting..He stopped within ten feet of me to observe the situation..I could not move to get my gun up for fear of scaring him..He winded me and took off..I was able to get one shot off on the run..He was full of scars and an old buck with one tooth..Quite the trophy with the curled antlers.
