Difficult to get there

We have been fishing the Cariboo Region for the past 12 years. Although the fishing has been excellent English Lake has been calling our name. There is a huge mudhole just before the creek and the lake. Is it possible to get in with a truck? It was very wet when we tried and we never made it in to the lake. Any advice or comments would be appreciated.
