deerock lake pike?

I went there a few years back, probably 5-6 years ago. I know it used to have many pike, and i caught them frequently there from the shore on minnows. I was fishing on the shores where the gravel road comes down and there is a public boat launch. I caught many pike there, but i havent gone back since my friend told 3 years ago that he went a couple of times in the summer and didnt even get a bite. does anyone who has been there caught any pike perhaps recently (1-2 years ago) thanks
