alleyne lake is my second all time favourit place to fish (next to bella coola) because it has monster trout like this one and bigge this is actually the smaller of the 2 fish we caught that day and the smallest one we saw the whole trip (the waters are crystal clear!
this rainbow is actually the smaller of the 2 we had caught tht day. we figure this one was about 3 lbs and the other one was about 6 lbs. welet both of them go . the waters at ayllene are so clear that you can see the fish and it sure is fun to go chasing after one in the boat. we had a couple bites on green coronomids but if you really want to catch fish caddis fly and caddis fly nymphs are the way to go in early july
