First try at downrigging from my Old Town Predator pdl. I headed out early and following bait, this lovely hit. Pulled me around for 15 minutes. I’m definitely heading back to bluffers park Scarborough this season.

I purchased a Predator pdl kayak in 2017. I went out of bluffers at 4:30 am to get out to the area where the charters were heading 4 miles out. I downrigged and dipseyed and caught salmon all day. I kept these two for the freezer. Charter boats were cheering as I’m being pulled around by these kings. Definitely going back this year with meat rigs!

I absolutely love lake simcoe trout. I jig in 110 ft, or downrig, depending on their mood. Got this lovely in late August. Fantastic on the smoker!

Staying at a friends cottage and my son believed you’d have to act like a fish to catch one. He wasn’t wrong though, as the pic shows

I was camping at killbear provincial park and trolled past this small island. Pics taken and released to get even bigger!

I’ve always wanted to troll for king salmon in LakeOntario, but have no room for a boat at home. I bought an Old Town peddle fishing kayak this past year. I peddled out 4 miles and downrigged and nailed my limit in just a few hrs. Looking forward to heading out more this year!

Killbear pike
I was camping at Killbear Provincial park and was trolling a point for smallmouth when this beauty hit the rapala. Released after a few pics.

Hooked at a young age
My son was fishing for rock bass under the dock when he hooked this smallie.

To catch a fish..act like the fish!!
My son Loves to fish and believed at the time that to catch them, you needed to be close to them, which he did. And it obviously worked.
