Trying out a new lure combo we were just pounding the kokanee, one after another. As my friend was telling me "well that lure will catch lots of little kokes it won't get any big ones". About then the rod doubled over and I landed this 6 pound 13 ounce kokanee. My largest by far. I caught many other 3 to 5 pound kokanee on that trip.
