An amazing weekend with 200+ fish

This was my Daughter’s first time fishing for lake trout, and it ended up being a fishing trip of a life time that we will never forget. We went with a buddy and his son. The first day was a little windy and we started by using down riggers. We did catch a few, but mostly smaller Lakers. The next day the wind died down and the lake glassed out. with the help of a good fish finder we got on top of schools of large lakers and were pulling them in one after another jigging. Everyone on our boat was catching and having a blast. Numerous amounts of time we had double and triple headers. 8 x we had quad headers and all had fish on at the same time. By the end of the day we had caught well over 200 big lakers. What an amazing day!! That day our arms were sore, our bodies a little burnt From the beautiful weather, and we made memories that none of us will ever forget.
