Releasing a ~3lb smallmouth, caught on a white and blue translucent Whopper Plopper knockoff.

2.95lbs Smallmouth. Caught on a squarebill crankbait (pictured), shallow rocky shoal from the bank.

Never seen a smallmouth this colour before, picture doesn't do it justice. It was a bright rusty orange colour. Caught on a chartreuse spinnerbait with gold willow blades from shore. ~1lb.
