Goes from 15ft to 2ft as you drift south. Not a problem is the water levels are high but if the water levels are down there is small rocky outcrop field.

Northern pike is dominant on the lake at a ratio of 5:1 to other species. Walleye were sitting at 10-15ft and we trolled them at 1.5-2.5 mph into the current. Successful lures were Matsuo Jointed Tournament Crank in Purpledescent, Rapala Minnow Rap in Bleeding Pearl, and Berkley Flicker Minnow in Prime Time. The boat launch is shallow with minor weeds around. The beach is shallow enough that you can beach your boat after use and the park staff don't mind. You can also tie your boat to the dock at no charge.
