Lodging and Camping

The site elevation is +/- 752 meters on Trout Lake at the Southeast end of the lake on the southwest shore. The site is nestled between Mount Hadow elevation 2583 m / 8474 ft on the southwest side and Fays Peak elevation 2826 m / 9271 ft on the Northeast side. The lake sits in a steep valley and towering mountains giving a great feeling of isolation.
West Trout Road FSR.
Traveling north from Nakusp, BC on Hwy 23, turn onto Hwy 31 heading East to Trout Lake, BC. Travel past Trout Lake till you are at the east end of the lake at Gerrard. At Gerrard head up the southeast side of the lake on West Trout Road FSR +/- 1.142 km, and there will be a access point to the lake .
