Lodging and Camping

Beautiful, sandy/pebbly beaches surrounded by ponderosa pine and sagebrush, Okanagan Lake Provincial Park is the perfect spot for swimming and water activities. There are two large campgrounds in the park, as well as panoramic views and picnic sites. South Campground has 88 sites plus 8 walk-in tenting sites and is open from may 20 to September 19 with showers, flush toilets, a playground, and a boat launch. While North Campground has 80 sites and is open may 20 to September 19. Reservations are strongly advised during peak seasons . Firewood is available for sale and ice is available for sale in south park. Winter rates apply from October 11 to early November. Park Size: 98 hectares

Located 11 km north of Summerland on Hwy 97.

Spacious campsites are situated in a forest setting up above some of the Okanagan’s finest beaches. Ellison is perfect for fun-filled family adventures and beach activities. There is a scenic nature trail as well as mountain biking trails which are perfect for all ages and abilities. Reservations are strongly advised during peak season. Ellison has a small concession that also sells treats, firewood and ice. Park Size: 200 hectares

If north-bound travelling on Highway 97, turn left on 25th Avenue (main intersection downtown Vernon); park is 16 km or approximately 20 minutes from that junction. Follow blue and white VIP signs saying Ellison Park. If south bound travelling on Highway 97, turn right on 25th Avenue.

Dose anyone know of any rules on cast nets because id like to try it it would be catch and release for carp and maybe peamouth. so if you know anything please contact me! p.s. if you have a cast net and you are willing to sell it id be interested thanks.

might be able to launch with a trailer here but you could differently get a small boat in if you dont need a trailer to launch it like a 14 or under john or point nose boat there
