This small lake is busy in the summer months. Swimming in the warm shallow waters is popular with children. These sunny, open campsites provide scenic lake views. Most sites can accommodate trailers. The Tamarack Lake Recreation Site is a short drive to the south west and offers better angling opportunities and 3 campsites.
Easy access from paved road. From Hwy 93/95 - take the Skookumchuck Pulpmill road (Farstad Way). Turn west before entering the mill. The paved road turns to gravel and leads to the Torrent FS Road. At the 2 km marker turn north on the Torrent FS Road and follow it to the 6 km marker where there are two entrances to Larchwood Lake at the top of a hill. The site is accessible by 2WD vehicles and trailers.
