This musky was the second of the day for me on Lake Restoule in beautiful Northern Ontario. I was actually fishing for bass when this 43" beauty decided to give my spinner bait a try. As I always do, I carefully lifted her out of the water for a quick picture and sent her back home to live for another day/angler. Such a joy to be able to access lakes like this in Northern Ontario that have such majestic healthy fish!

I have been on the hunt for a musky since I was a teenager. I am now 48 and can finally tell this story. This dark beauty of a musky was caught in mid day, sunny skies on Lake Restoule in Ontario. I was fishing for musky with a small green and yellow spinner bait. I almost lost my girlfriend in the lake when she tried to net this beast! After a few minutes of fighting this fish, we finally managed to lift this 50 inch musky out of the water for a quick photo. As I always do with such majestic fish, I put her back into the water and enjoyed watching this huge fish swim away to live for another day/angler. The biggest fish I have ever landed!
