Bright fresh run steelhead taken on a brass cone head leech with a brown body. Was using a medium rate 10’ sink tip in high slow water and a long 10 foot leader. Landed and released in early April at the mouth of the Ganaraska river, Ontario.
Taken above Clendenans dam, beaver river, early May on a egg sucking leech, 2 feet of 8lb maxima tippet on a 9 foot super fast sink tip ( 6-7 inch/sec.) Was high water. Was a drop back fish that grabbed it aggressively.
