Northern Ronquil

Ronquilus jordani

Northern Ronquil

Northern Ronquil are native to the eastern Pacific Ocean from the Bering Sea to Monterey Bay, CA. They can be found at depths ranging from 3 to 275 metres. Adult Northern Ronquil are primarily benthic (bottom-dwelling) along rocky continental shelf and upper slope waters of the north-eastern Pacific Ocean. However, larvae and juveniles are considered neustonic, and occupy waters closer to the surface. Source: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ronquilus_jordani
