Prizes

  • The Muskie categories for “Overall Most Entered” and the “Overall Largest Muskie” 1st place, both receive a large trophy that the individual gets to keep for 1 full year. This also comes with a full year of “bragging rights” as the Top Angler for Muskie, as well as a small trophy to keep.  Depending on the amount of people entered, the cash prize may vary.  (Ray Leblanc will again be defending his win from last year);

  • Money will also be divided up between the remaining "Overall Longest” categories and each category will receive cash and a trophy for 1st and 2nd place.. (keep in mind you can win multiple categories). No one can win both 1st and 2nd place prize in a single category unless that person is the only one to register a fish in said category.

FOR EXAMPLE:

  • If total registration money is based on 10 people $3000

  • $250 from each entry adds up to a total of $2500. Divide that by the 8 categories - this equals $312.50 per category. The cash awards will work out to be $200 for 1st place and $112 for 2nd

  • The remaining $50 per person will be put towards trophies etc and whatever is left, which there will be, that money will be added to the awards below.

  • Overall Most Muskie Entered - 1st place wins $200

  • Overall Most Muskie Entered - 2nd place wins $112

  • Overall Longest Smallmouth Bass Entered - 1st place wins $200

  • Overall Longest Smallmouth Bass Entered - 2nd place wins $112

Again, these are just rough ideas until we know how many participants.
