Forestry campsite is very busy on weekends from first open water through early September. Most weekends parking lot is used for camp sites. Camping is also available at Pinnacle Lake Forestry site (approx. 1.5 KM away). Important Note: Provincial regulations: Artificial fly only, 10 h.p. motor & limit of 1 fish per day. Chironomid fishing best through June/July. Leeches (Black or Purple) & pregnant shrimp also effective all season. Lake is subject to wind conditions though usually early/mid-morning & evenings are typcially fairly calm.

Ive fished this lake for severel years (usually around mid june) and have found it to be very productive on a snow-cone cronies. I have found the lake seems to be more active in the mid-mornings. Mark and Tanya that run the lodge are VERY friendly and always have good info on what's hot and what's not. It's just too bad that the pine beetle are distroying the country side.

I have also fished this lake and found that the resort is rather expensive 2 night minimum at 150 or so a night with no amenitys. not to mention very rude wont be staying there again! but there is a nice little camp ground a km down the road and another down at pinnicle as the first guy stated. very nice lake ! not so nice resort! my two cents
