Char Fishing

Hello fellow anglers, I am looking for any info and tips about fishing for char in Francois lake. Any info or stories would be helpfull. Thanks

I'm not terribly familiar with Francois, but I did manage to get a few hits and land one char a couple weekends ago along the islands across and down from Francois lk resort. Pinks and blues down to about 120' seemed to be the trick in that spot, but I wasn't able to spend much time on the water (3' swells in a small boat) A friend of mine does really well on the far end of the lake near colleymount, but I haven't tried it myself yet.
