FREE Family Fishing Event On Ferguson Lake

Families are invited to a free fishing day at Ferguson Lake on Saturday, June 14. The Spruce City Wildlife Association will be hosting the event starting at 10:00 am, and running until 3:00 pm. There are many prizes to be given away to kids, including new fishing rods. The major attraction at this event is a new 50 foot fishing dock. Spruce City Wildlife Association is the lead organization that has brought this dock to Ferguson Lake. Many partners have helped the club with this project, including The City of Prince George, Nature Trust of BC, Freshwater Fisheries Society of BC, Habitat Trust Conservation Fund and Fraser Basin Council. To celebrate the new dock, the City of Prince George will be holding an official dock opening ceremony at 11:00 am.
