Peterhope Lake

located 47km from Merritt and 50km from Kamloops on Hwy 5A contains only Rainbow trout up to 16lbs. there is a Ministry of Tourism campsite located on the north end of the lake.the campsite has 27 sites with firepits and tables. there are two boat launches with day use parking. the favorite flies for this lake are Blood worms and leech patterns.there is a bait ban on this lake.the lake is closed to fishing from Dec. 1st to April 30th.
