Due to the presence of course fish in this lake fisheries biologists have stocked it with Blackwater River Rainbow, a strain selected as a result of them having developed a taste for course fish due to evolving with them in the Blackburn River in Northern

I have heard about some nice fish coming out of this lake but haven’t had the opportunity as yet. We have a site booked this weekend july 04 and will report with pics if successful! i hear it can be a moody lake!

I’ve fished this lake annually for about 5 years. Flys and troll will both work, but the bigger fish are all on the south side.

Nice small lake with good camping, lots of trails hiking,mountain biking,etc . Caught fish from shore and by boat most were between 6-12 in.a few close to 3lbs.

don’t bother coming here without a boat foot access is very limited you can rent boats at r.v. park (no motors).

Lake has a nice 3 site treed forestry campsite on the Southwest shore of the lake with boat launch suitable for cartop or trailered aluminum boats. Fishing was slow with several small Kokanee caught while trolling very slow on surface with small apex or
