This year's contest has been more popular than ever! We received hundreds of photos from our members, and was hard to choose the winners with so many top notch photos. We want to take a moment to thank everyone who submitted pictures this year and we look forward to seeing what our members catch this year!
As there were so many excellent entries we have decided to expand the contest, and have a total of 21 prizes. There is one grand prize winner and it has been awarded to Grahame Go (goflyinfishing) from Vernon BC for his spectacular shot of a girl and her catch on Hihium Lake (see large image below).
The remaining 20 prizes have been divided into four categories: (1) Lake Photos in Alberta, (2) Lake Photos in BC, (3) Lake Photos in Ontario, and (4) River Photos. Five images from each category have been awarded category prizes with each winning photo shown below.

Submitted by: supertrout101 This rainbow is actually the smaller of the 2 we had caught tht day. we figure this one was about 3 lbs and the other one was about 6 lbs. welet both of them go . the waters at ayllene are so clear that you can see the fish and it sure is fun to go chasing after one in the boat. we had a couple bites on green coronomids but if you really want to catch fish caddis fly and caddis fly nymphs are the way to go in early july |
