Honeymoon Fish
This 35lb Lake Trout was caught on my honeymoonn. This grandfather fish (approx. 60 yrs old) was caught in Marsh Lake, Yukon a couple of days after my husband and I were married. He was 38" long, 22" girth and had an approx. 4-5 lb. Lake Trout's tail fin still sticking out of his throat - the other half in his belly. He was taken while drifting from Tagish River into Marsh Lake, using freshwater herring (came close to spooling me too!). Took close to half an hour to land (no nets used) before returning him to his home. As you can see, we barley got the fish and me in the same frame. Live video was taken of this catch too!
