A record 1,364 photos were entered into the 2011 photo contest, and it required several passes before even a shortlist was chosen! For those who won, congratulations! For those who didn't, we thank you for your entry and hope you try again next year. The winning photos are shown below, including the Early Bird winners, whose photos were used on the cover of our 2011 fishing guides. The contest is divided into into five major themes, and a set of Early Bird winners. The winning photos are broken down into the following categories: (1) Fish, (2) Kids, (3) Scenery, (4) Action, and (5) General fishing photos. In each category, five winners have been selected, with one of the photos being chosen as the Publisher's Pick.
A special thanks to everyone who participated. It's a great way for our members to showcase the great fishing out there!
