The boat launch is at the Sylvania lodge. It is a pretty good launch. I never even get my car wet. There is a fee to use it though. Last year it was $7.00.

Caught a 6lb 7oz Largemouth Bass here April 11, 2009. It won the Elk Lake Derby for biggest Bass and netted me a cheque for $1000!!! Nice fish!

Small 10-12’ trout. Couldn’t keep them off the hook. Would be great for kids. Shallow area though, watch your gear.
