Access
Great Access it is only about 40 kms North of Westlock and only 30 kms East of Jarvie on paved road. Access from Westlock is awesome there is about 36kms of Paved Highway and only about 4kms of gravel road. It is great to bring your boat down. There is even a great family style campground there. From Westlock you travel North on Highway 44. When you see a Tempo gas station along the Highway you turn East at HWY 661 and take an Immediate North on HWY 801. However I recomened you stop at the Tempo (Locally known as the Dapp Corner Store) and pick up a soft serve ice cream, or a slush puppy or even mixed the two. GREAT TREAT for the kids. Once on Highway 801 follow the signs to Long Island Lake and you'll have a great time.

Can someone please tell me where to starat looking for perch on this lake I have only found jack fish so far, but I have heard that there are perch
