The Angler's Atlas Maps
The Angler's Atlas web service is designed to provide maps and associated data for fishing.
The maps are divided into two general categories: free maps and paid maps.
Free Maps
The free maps are available as PDF downloads, and also provided in conjunction with Googlemaps. This section includes our popular depth charts which showcase thousands of lakes across British Columbia, Alberta and Ontario, and new in 2009 are the topographic map series for Canada and the United States. Each of the maps are categorized based on specific lakes.
Map Store
We have recently expanded our Map Store to include print versions of our maps that are already available for free, as many users want larger maps than they can print out themsleves, or prefer to have them printed on durable material, such as our new Tough Maps.
We have also created a vendors section, where map publishers can list their maps for sale through our site. The advantage of this service is that we provide geo-referencing services that connects map products with the appropriate lakes in our database, making it easy to link the map product with any lake of interest.
Last Word
We have tried to design our site so that anglers can get to their maps as easily as possible but there are a few things to keep in mind.
- Before getting a map you need to login with the username and password that you signed up with.
- Some map files are large and will take several minutes to download on a slow modem.
If you need to know more, just send an email to mail@anglersatlas.com.
Enjoy the Maps!
